The 40th match of IPL 2021 will have the Sunrisers Hyderabad swinging their bats against Rajasthan Royals. RR was defeated in the last game by Delhi Capitals, and as a result, their chance of surviving in the game looks slim. But, SRH does not have a good score either, and in fact, they are at the bottom of the leaderboard at present.
SRH Vs. RR-The Match Preview
We have seen so far that RR’s performance this year is suffering from colossal setbacks. It looked like the skipper, Sanju Samson, is the only one leading the team because none of the other batsmen could cope with Delhi’s fast bowling strategy. As a result, RR lost their fifth match of this season with a shortfall of 33 runs.

On the other hand, SRH just lost their eighth match of this season’s IPL, and they are just hoping for this season to end. The SRH did not have a notable performance this year. Like the RR, SRH also looked like a one-person army because only Jason Holder had a fantastic performance. But, none of the other batsmen could cope up, and they failed to score 126 runs against PBKS.
But, surprisingly, both the teams have clashed against each other precisely 14 times, and both won 7 matches each. So, even though it looks like RR may win the game today, nothing can be confirmed yet.

Key Players To Look Forward To
Sanju Samson: Sanju Samson indeed deserves to be the captain of RR because of his commendable performance. The skipper has scored 430 runs in 12 innings against SRH, which is one of the best records in the IPL 2021 history.
David Warner: David Warner has been a critical asset to the SRH team this year. His four half-centuries in 11 innings and 241 runs in 8 innings have made the player a valuable addition to the squad.
Mustafizur Rahman: In their last match against SRH earlier this season, Rahman scored 3/20. Even in their previous game against DC, he scored 2/33, so all eyes will be set on him today.
Jason Holder: Holder truly saved RR on their shameful day of losing the match to DC. He took 3/19 and scored 29 balls 47 to give his incompetent team a fair shot at the victory that day.
Chris Morris: Chris Morris has grabbed 11 wickets in 12 matches against SRH so far. With a stunning record of 8 wickets in 4 games in Dubai stadium, he will be a crucial asset for RR in today’s game.
Rashid Khan: In their seven matches against RR, Rashid Khan has eight wickets in his name. In Dubai also, he set an excellent record of 12 wickets in 9 games with an average of 14.75.
What We Think
Well, judging by the capabilities of each squad, it is undoubtedly unpredictable which team will win today. Although most people have placed bets on RR, some people still hold onto SRH. The team that gets to open the game will have a higher chance of winning because 3 of the four matches in this stadium have resulted in the batting team’s victory. So, let’s hope for the best.
