Have you heard about the covid fear in the Indian team? Due to this, the 5th test between India Vs. England has been canceled. Just a few minutes ago, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed this news. The last test took place the previous day, and then the Indian team wanted to go for the covid test.
Mainly for the security of Indian players and staff, the 5th test match has been canceled. ECB sent the official news on Twitter. The BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was also concerned about the health of the teammate of India. So, he requested the ECB to postpone the match, as he said previously.
Following ongoing conversations with the BCCI, the ECB can confirm that the fifth LV= Insurance Test at Emirates Old Trafford, due to start today, will be cancelled.

Ravi Shastri, R Sridhar, and Bharat Arun are quarantined at this moment. The team has declared to stay away from those players who have covid suspicion. This time, the team will remain in quarantine. No worries, then all are safe now!
The decision has been taken to reduce the headache of covid spread. The whole team has gone for the RT-PCR covid test. Not everyone of the Indian team is covid infected, but ECB is prioritizing the safety and health of the players.
Buttler’s Statement
Butler enunciates in the virtual place that,
“We don’t know too much about it at the moment. It would be naive to speculate on what’s going on. At the moment we’re fully expecting the game to go ahead and we’re preparing that way so fingers crossed the game will go ahead. Things are fine in our camp and we are looking forward to the game,”
On the other hand, from October, the T20 world cup is also going to start. For this reason, India is preparing the team to the most real strength. Therefore, it is a vital time for India, which is also a significant reason behind the cancellation of the 5th test match.
In the last 4th test, India was leading 2-1. We hope in the next match, the team will spend all their efforts to get the trophy. For the time being, let’s pray that all players get well soon.
