The duo is reportedly just another group of friends. Certain moments are amazing, while some can go out of hand. And something similar happened. Andrey Rublev is the godfather of Daniil Medvedev. In a light, hearty moment, the former cracked a joke about who the girl’s real father was. But fans were having none of it. It left fans fuming with anger and discontentment towards Andrey.

Immediately, fans took to social media to express their anger and disappointment at Andrey. One fan even wrote, “That is an awful thing to say…. wow.. obviously Daniil is not happy with that. Rightly so. Stick to throwing racquets Andrei, comedy is def not your thing.”
Another fan wrote, “Nothing to see here, just Rublev giving the world more reasons to dislike him. I don’t get how people find this funny, it’s quite disrespectful tbh.” And the ros of triggered comments kept on coming. While some are just calling out the nature of the joke, others are questioning Rublev’s morality and taste of humor.
As of now, the duo seems to be doing good and shows no signs of internal trouble or broken friendship.
