Arman Tsarukyan is rising to be one of the shining beacons of UFC. His first-round victory against Beneil Daruish has proved Arman to be one of the fiercest fighters in the lightweight division. Arman already entered UFC as one of the promising candidates. And his recent victories and altercations have only cemented his position.
Arman’s recent escapades have only added to his UFC fame. He has become one of the most coveted fighters in UFC’s lightweight division. Several sports analysts have claimed that there is a hint of Connor McGregor in there somewhere. Both fighters demonstrate a wish to exceed their current achievements and become the best in their division.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, the fighter was asked about his future plans. Helwani also brought up the topic of how fighters are unwilling to fight Arman Tsarukyan. To this, the young fighter boldly declared that they would have nowhere to run.
The New King?
In a detailed statement, the young fighter said, “No, they can’t run anymore. So, they’ve got to take this fight and fight with me. Because tomorrow, I’m going to be ranked number three or four. Hopefully, it’s going to be three; I don’t want to be number four. So, top three lightweight, and I think it makes sense to fight with me now.”
Arman also made explosive comments about Islam Makhachev and how they both share some stark similarities. According to Tsarukyan, “Yeah, it’s the same, you know? Islam had a similar situation. He never beat the top five fighters before when he fought for the title. But hopefully, I already beat number four. So that’s why I’m waiting for the call from my manager and he’ll tell me, ‘Arman, you’re going to fight for the title’
Even when asked about Oliviera’s fight, Tsarukyan remained fairly unfazed. He further explained that he has the capability to take on Oliviera and would happily do so. This shows that this man is not going to stop anytime soon and wants to prove his worth by any means necessary.
