Sunday night lit up when the Philadelphia Eagles took on the Dallas Cowboys tonight. As much as Phillies fans were ecstatic to see their team performance, the same cannot be said about the Cowboys.
The Cowboys lost to the Phillies with a 23-28 scoreboard, and this left fans distraught. But Grant Williams did one thing that surely ticked off each and every Dallas Cowboys fan.
The Joke
The Houston native and the young basketball wizard Grant Williams attended the post-game press conference in a Philadelphia Eagles jersey. The jersey belonged to none other than Jason Kelce.
This immediately sent an already angry fandom off the rails. But what made Williams do this? Does this mean that there is possibly a tradeoff that is coming soon? Or is there more to it than what meets the eye?
The Not So Merry Laughter
Whatever may be the cause, fans did not like it one bit. Landon Thomas shared a picture of Grant Williams.
The post read, ‘Grant Williams is trolling right now, came into post-game press conference with an Philadelphia Eagles Jason Kelce jersey.’
As soon as the post was released, Cowboys fans went crazy. The post was immediately reposted, along with some angry comments from the fans.
While some comments were harmless, others felt quite harmful and asinine. Some of the most moderated comments included, ‘Get off my team @Grant2Will’, ‘Cut his ass out of the team as of NOW!!’, ‘Trade his ass… yesterday’, ‘You’re lucky I like you and that you’re good at basketball, Grant.’, etc.
