Kyle Busch is having a great time right now. Busch is currently at the peak of his career, with an exceptional winning streak in the top three NASCAR series.
With performance over the years, Busch has become a role model for several budding racers across America as well as globally.
But one young racer who is following Kyle Busch’s steps closer than others is Brexton Busch, 8-year-old son of Kyle. Ever since his birth, his parents decided that he would grow up to become like his father.
Brexton started racing at the age of five. And now, when he is eight years old, he has already racked up a whopping 32 wins.
This was not invisible to Kyle and his colleagues. In fact, several media outlet believes that Kyle is attempting to model his son’s racing career based on Christopher Bell.
Back in 2014, Kyle and Bell used to take part in sprint races, similar to Brexton. When Bell was asked about this, he was certainly pleased and applauded the young racer for his journey.
The Young Prodigy
Till now, Brexton has pretty much become a significant name in the sprint racing community. But still, there is a long way to go.
When Bell asked about Brexton’s progress and next step, Bell replied, “It’s been fun following Brexton’s career, for sure. I’m glad that Kyle has got him starting out basically right where I did 20 years ago. It’s cool and I’m excited to see Brexton’s career path too. What way Kyle take, if he is going to stay dirt track racing or go pavement racing? But hopefully, Kyle is seeing the advantage that dirt track racing provides a young driver.”
These words were affirmations and were certainly a welcoming addition. Given how the world is eager to shut down young talent, Bell is one of those rare ones who just wants to see a young guy flourish in whatever he is doing.
