LA Lakers went from mid to good this season. Even though they did not make waves like the Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves, they certainly pulled up themselves. However, analysts have said that there is no sharp change in how the team performs unless there is a dramatic shift in the roster.
But one good thing about the team is that LeBron has still managed to hold a time-defying position. However, the team cannot function with just one key element. Apart from its two seminal players, the team also needs to work on the overall team synergy. This will determine how the team will function as a whole unit.
The Dream Team
The primary problem of the whole deal is how players are more concerned about their own game and do not seem to recognize the team’s efforts. However, one former Laker believes that this problem can only be solved by one of the former Laker members, Kobe Bryant.
Kobe was a team player. Whatever he did, he did it for the team. But sadly, he had to leave us early. In fact, former Laker player DeMarcus Cousins did envision a dream team. In a recent interview with Shobasketball, DeMarcus said, “You put Bean on this team. With AD [Anthony Davis] and LeBron. I don’t think they lose a game.”
While this might be a wet dream for basketball fans, it is a dream that is never fulfilled. My Kobe finds his peace wherever he may be. Keep following our page for more sports-related content, news & stories.
